In an existing, developed area of Golden Square, just 5 mins from the centre of Bendigo this home has been designed to be in keeping with the surrounding area while giving the owners a new, modern and practical extension.  The extension consisted of adding a Bathroom, Ensuite, Kitchen, Meals, Dining, Living, Bedroom, Laundry, Mudroom, Alfresco and Carport. 

The existing part of the dwelling was always assigned to become an area set aside for visiting family and friends while the new extension would be the area in which they "lived" and grew their young family.

As you make your way from the existing into the extension, you are met with the striking design. The huge stone island bench and black pendant lighting above become the focal point for a kitchen that oozes both class and style.  Velux skylights above, SMEG appliances, shaker cabinetry and black tapware complete this stunning area.

While the island is the focal piece of the Kitchen, the custom cabinetry and black wood fire are the stars of the remainder of this already impressive area. 

No expense has been spared with either the Ensuite and Bathroom and the photos show the custom vanities, tile selections and fixtures which compliment the rest of the house.

Lastly, the decking and alfresco area will be an area that this young family can enjoy in years to come.....Mum and Dad have a glass or two on the deck while watching over the kids in back yard.

The tiled flooring throughout the extension is both practical and classy and works well with the stone bench tops to both Kitchen and Island.  Feature tiled walls to both the Ensuite and Bathroom combined with timber benches to the vanities of both rooms speak to the quality that has been pursued throughout this project by both the client and builder.  Beautiful, modern Kitchen bench tops and cabinetry in contrasting colors and materials speak to the quality that has been pursued throughout the rest of this project by both the client and builder.
